Jakarta Provincial Government continues to socialize the readiness of 2018 Asian Games that falls on October 6-16, 2018 in Jakarta.
Indonesia is really showing disability friendly
It is a sporting event for Asian people with disabilities who will compete in 17 sports.
Such socialization that held at Jakarta City Hall Pattern Room is opened by Jakarta Assistant to People's Welfare, Fatahillah, and attended by Section Deputy of Sport Culture, Deputy Minister for Sports Empowerment, Isnanta.

Meanwhile, Section Deputy of Sport Culture, Deputy Minister for Sports Empowerment, Isnanta added that Jakarta should be an example for other cities to hold Asian Para Games.
"If Jakarta had started, others would be easy to follow. Indonesia is really showing disability friendly. IT's because the main task of Asian Para Games is to put forward the social aspect," said Isnanta.
Similar statement also came out from Chief of the Indonesia Asian Games Organizing Committee (INAPGOC), Raja Sapta Oktohari. He assessed, the city is ready to hold this event. It is seen from some special means of transportation for people with disabilities that have been prepared.
"There have been 600 fleets using disability-friendly concept and 25 of them are prepared to help the event through Transjakartam," he asserted.
There are 17 sports that will be competed later. They are archery, athletic, badminton, boccia, chess, goal ball, lawn ball, judo, powerlifting, shooting, swimming, bowling, table tennis, sitting volleyball, wheelchair basket, as well as wheelchair hangar and wheelchair tennis.
